Day 9: Garlic Chicken

Good morning! It is quite the gloomy day here in Wisconsin, I think it is officially fall weather now! I think we are a little beyond our peak in color although it is still quite beautiful. Today I have another recipe for you, those seem to be the most popular so I will share another. It is not a crockpot one this time, those are definitely my favorite but it is really easy with very little prep involved.

So here is your ingredient list:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or the amount needed for your family, just make a little more of the topping if you do more than 4 chicken breasts)
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 Tablespoons of brown sugar
3 teaspoons of olive oil

Direction:
Preheat oven to 500* and lightly grease a casserole dish.

In a small sauté pan, sauté garlic and oil until garlic is tender.

Remove from heat and add brown sugar.

Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bake uncovered for 15-30 minutes.

Here is my little helper!

I served it with garlic buttered noodles and corn!

Clean up was a breeze, after baking in a 500* oven for almost 30 minutes there was a lot of bakes on grime. I just added a squirt of Basic H2 and warm water.

I intended to wash it after a short soaking but never got to it so I did it right away this morning. I just rinsed it out, added a little soap and washed it with my rag, no scrubbing involved.
I did use a little Scour Off to scrub off the baked on cooking spray on the top rim though, that is almost impossible to get off with!
