Home Tour, Kids Bathroom ~ Thrifty Thursday

Good Morning! It is not only Thrifty Thursday it is week two of my home tour! I was really hoping to finally share with you all my laundry room but my husband and I painted the floor two days ago and we haven’t gotten it put back together yet, next week for sure though. I can’t go a week without a washer! So today I thought I’d share our main/kids bathroom. It is so great having two bathrooms with so many people in our home. This one I decorated with ducks, cute for the kids but still nice for company too, not too babyish or crazy. It was painted this color when we bought the house and I loved it.

Thrifty Thursday ~ Day 1 of Home Tour

Story of my life! Well today I decided it was the day, I took my camera with me down to the bus stop and then I took some pictures quick before I went inside. I decided that I would start by showing you what the outside of our home looks like. It is nothing fancy just and old country ranch home but from the first day we saw it we knew it was for us! I truly love our home! It is the first home my husband and I purchased and we have lived here for 3 1/2 years now. We rented for the first 5 years of our marriage, we didn’t want to buy one until we were sure. Below is a picture of the quiet country road we live on……..It is a dead end so there is very little traffic which is great with the kids! Here is the front of our home…… And the back of our home……. Some of the things I love most about our home are…….This is what we see when we look out the front window……. And this is what we see when we look out the back of our home….. I love the quite seclusion…….the peace……..being surrounded by trees and nature! Some of the other wonderful features are…….our deck out back, we spend a lot of time here in the summer and it makes a great outdoor playpen for the little ones! The play area for the kids…… And last but not least, every country yard needs a great big garage! Also here is our home away from home in the summer time, our camper! Laundry Room Sneak Peak ~ Thrifty Thursday

Good Morning! Well here it is ! Your sneak peak at my laundry room. I still don’t want to reveal it all because it isn’t quite finished yet. We are trying to do it on a budget so we are watching for sales and deals and buying things as we can afford them. But we only have a few things left to do and I can share it all with you!

Below is one of the shelves my handy hubby installed to put all my supplies on and a hanging bar.

Here are the boxes my father-in-law built to put my washer and dryer on, these are wonderful!

And last, here is a counter for folding!

It isn't quite completed but I am loving it already! With a big family I spend a lot of time in my laundry room, it is so nice not having it in a dark basement room. It is still in my basement but is now bright and cheery and very functional!
